Mobile Working

"I am a Business Development Director for my family company based in Stockport, Cheshire. After I had a baby I needed to work two days at home as well as my three days in the office and the remote access made this possible. I simply switch on my laptop and within a few seconds I am connected to my work PC and all the programs on it. I usually work around 12 hours per day and having the flexibility to work from home means I can juggle being a full time mum as well as working full time, I just just pick up the PC when it’s convenient. It means I can log on to the office network from my laptop, at any time - night or day, from any place. This has obvious advantages, like e-mails can be dealt with more quickly if necessary, without having to wait and travel into the office premises in heavy traffic or bad weather conditions, perhaps next day or after the weekend/holiday period.
